Matchmaker...

I've had the most insane week at school.  School is quite manageable but I manage to make it less manageable by managing my time in the least manageable ways.  If you catch my drift.  The worst is over, though, and by the grace of awesomeness my teacher pushed back a paper I had due Thursday so the presentation and paper yesterday added to my two tests today are done done done and I can officially move on with my life.  YES!!  Here is the outfit I wore to school today!  I like it because it's simple but chic with a touch of layering, pop of color and MY NEW HURR-DO!!!

Jeremiah was working on his car as you can see.  He's a gem for taking these pics.

Details:
Peacoat: Younker's in Iowa from forever ago.
Sweater: F21
Shirt: Zara via Eva
Jeans: F21
Hat: Walmart
Purse: Zara
Flats: Nine West
Lipgloss: Revlon Colorstay (THE BEST!)
I really like outfits that go together in pairs.  What I mean by that is my gray hat and shoes match along with my red lipgloss and purse; and black nail polish, coat and the edging on my shoes.  Okay, that last one was three elements, but still!!  When the shoes match the purse that match the hat and nail polish etc etc the matching gets to be way too much.  I even find myself grimacing when I see the perfectly matched shoe and purse combo.  Although there are always exceptions to the rule and fashion is obvi completely subjective, working in pairs in unexpected ways keeps an outfit pulled together and interesting without looking TOTALLY LAME-MATCHY-MATCH!!!!  What do you think, dear readers???  Am I totally full of it?
