I've had one helluva week so far full of high highs and the lowest of the lows. As far as the highs go, my dear friend Michelle is visiting for the weekend and I've been having a blast with her thus far. I've known her since I was a kid but we've had so much to catch up on. I'm just so happy she chose to come to Denver for a visit! Here's an outfit I wore to the movies tonight. Horrible Bosses was the perfect pick-me-up movie and I'd recommend it to anyone but my grandma! That Jennifer Aniston is a hoot.
Oh, snazzy! This shirt was easy to style as I have a lot of Native American (real and inspired) jewelry. I added the gray shirt because I like the contrast in sleeve length and MOVIE THEATERS ARE COLD, YO!
I recently cut some super long, yucky looking shorts into fresh cut-offs!

OH BOY! These shoes are heavenly. I bought them years ago in St. Louis while on vacation with Lynde. The gladiator plus fringe combo made my heart stop and they are still one of my favorite pair of shoes. These are concrete proof of love at first sight!
My nail polish combo is a bit of a hot mess this week as a result of Walgreens browsing. Not too shabby looking with this outfit, though, huh?
And here's the finished look. Quite simple but with just the right combo of layers, bling and a bangin shoe... my favorite kind of outfit.

AW YEAH MAN right on the money!
ReplyDeleteI was JUST looking through pants that I want to make into cutoffs but I've never done it before and I'm scared I'm going to ruin them. Tips for a newbie or is it really as simple as hacking any ole pair off?
ReplyDeleteEvee! glad you like!
ReplyDeleteAnd V! I got really lucky as I was planning to cut much shorter and could have ruined them. I'll take a couple pics and write the next post just for you! :)
